In this project the emphasis lay on the change between day and night modes. Various persons have been interviewed about their daily rituals and peculiarities while going-to-bed and waking up. Often an intense need for warmth is felt, which people still by using hot-water bottles, woollen socks or electric blankets. While having breakfast many people wrap themselves in their blanket to keep warm. But usually the bare feet stay uncovered and soon start seeking for a warm loophole. This research led to a felt-made carpet based on a woven structure building loops. If you slip your feet into these loops the warming material covers them like slippers. >>>
