On flights provided by discount airlines all additional services are forgone. This includes meals and drinks not being served for free. Presumably passengers of discounter airlines are interested in travelling as low-cost as possible and are not willing to pay for the over-priced range on board or in airport restaurants. Nevertheless it is a kind of ritual to shorten the flight by having a snack.
"Flight Food" is a compact set composed of a little snack and a soft drink that is meant to supply this consuetudinary want. Different variations of the set can be sold in mobile shops at the airport for a low price. The chosen snack and beverage are clipped together. Furthermore "Flight Food" includes a surprise cookie and a chewing gum for pressurisation and dental care. >>>
