“Gegen Verschachtelung” is a packaging for medicaments designed regarding the needs of elderly people. The project took place in cooperation with the pharmaceutical company Grünenthal.
Those who ingest pills on a daily basis and prepare their weekly rations in pillboxes need to retain an overview and easy access to their medicaments. But the packaging jams and breaks while opening and it is nearly impossible to stow away the package insert after reading it. A package with detached flaps for a better handling was the starting point for this design.
The lid the package is closed with can be removed completely for storage at home. In order not to get lost it can be clipped onto the back of the package. A handle can be unfolded from the top of the lid. The package insert is placed outside the package and therefore doesn't disturb while withdrawing the enclosed pills. >>>
